Mr. Ellis began his construction career during his teenage years working for a family-owned paving company in Groveland, MA. Since then, he has amassed over 40 years of experience in the construction and development industries. After graduating from Dartmouth College in 1980, Mr. Ellis began working in construction in Telluride, Colorado, gaining stick-built multi-family construction experience prior to returning to the Boston area. Mr Ellis then worked for a large commercial construction company working on complex steel-framed and concrete multi story buildings. Mr Ellis’ career focus has been the approval process through the build-out phase of for-sale and rental residential communities. Currently, Mr. Ellis focuses on for-sale residential properties in the North Shore and in the greater Boston area. With a keen understanding of the industry, especially of the infamously treacherous permit process within Massachusetts, Mr. Ellis plays a key role in ensuring the smooth process of home development. He is a member of the Northeast Builders and Remodelers Association of Massachusetts, the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Massachusetts, and the National Association of Home Builders. Mr. Ellis lives in Gloucester with his wife and two dogs.
